The "Save the Cherubs" campaign was created in 2012 to raise awareness of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. This photograph was taken by Dawn Ireland, in memory of her son, Shane Torrence, who was 6 years old when he died from complications of CDH.
Ms. Ireland has donated the rights to this photograph to raise money for CDH International.
