Juniper's Bake Sale Fundraiser for CDHi Canada

Regular price $5.00 $0.00

Juniper's family and friends have come together for the first Bake & Make for CDH Fundraiser!
Facebook event link:

All funds raised are going to CDH International to help in their fight for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research and Awareness.
The Bake & Make for CDH Team would be delighted to have your participation and support. Please consider reading this message to learn a little bit about why we have come together for this event.
Why are we dedicated?
We are here for Juniper and for anyone who's had to experience CDH in their life. Juniper lived 5 months of her life without anyone knowing she had CDH. Juniper was a happy baby, hitting all her milestones at the pediatricians. We are grateful for every second we got with our sweet Juniper Berry, but as her Momma I can't help but feel like she deserved more. Those 3 words, 3 letters were uttered over the phone to us by the local coroner, as he tried to explain what the autopsy found. We miss Juniper and love her every day. We want to honour her life by spreading awareness and helping CDH International fund that much needed research. So many people and even medical professionals are not familiar with CDH,  yet it's as common as Cystic Fibrosis and Spina Bifida - we hope that changes soon.

CDH International is now a nonprofit foundation in Canada. Registration No. # 741095715 RR0001

About CDH International:

CDH International's mission is to find the cause, prevention, and best treatments of the birth defect, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), through research and awareness.

CDH affects 1600 babies every year in the U.S. and occurs when the diaphragm fails to fully form, allowing abdominal cavities to enter the chest cavity and preventing lung growth. 50% of babies born with CDH do not survive.  The cause is unknown.

CDH International is a 5-star, Presidential award winning charity helping over 7000 CDH families in 84 countries since 1995.  It is the world's oldest, largest, and leading Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia charity.

Donating to CDHi:

CDH International is a 50(c)III non-profit organization in the United States and a NGO in Canda, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Singapore.  Donations in any of these 7 countries are tax-deductible with their respective governments.

With less than 10% overhead, the charity funds Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, manages the global CDH Patient Registry, organizes international CDH Awareness Day on April 19th every year, and supports patients worldwide through various services.
